Sport Pilot Course Information

Training for this course utilizes the Gleim pilot training system. Flight training is in a Remos light sport aircraft.

Federal regulations require a minimum of twenty hours of flight training, which includes 15 hours of dual and 5 hours of solo. The following prices are based on those minimum requirements. Costs will vary with student abilities and progress.

Flight training is available 7 days per week, year round, by appointment only. Orion Flight Services is pleased to offer introductory flight lessons for anyone who is interested or may be interested in flying. The introductory flight lesson includes a half hour of ground instruction followed by a half hour of hands-on flight in our training aircraft. This introductory lesson does not obligate you to take further instruction.
